This CD features the big hits of in a live recording commemorating 30 years of his career, including his own compositions like 'Segure Tudo' and 'Casa de Bamba.' The irreproachable malandro carioca also presents precious jewels of the bambas of the hills (such as, and ), including 'Pelo Telefone' (the first recorded samba), 'Batuque Na Cozinha,' and others. Big commercial successes with marginal melodic/lyrical interest like 'Mulheres' and 'Devagar, Devagarinho' are also part of the album. The interpretation is, as always with, quite faithful to the true samba spirit. Some songs like 'Cama e Mesa' (by /, who deal with styles outside the samba) are adapted to the samba, but with no great expressive results.
